Five Volumes Of The Head
In this video, I’m showing you how I deconstruct the sculpted head into the five volumes of the head that George Bridgman developed.
There is the box of the forehead.
There is the upright cylindrical form of the maxilla and other forms that the nose rests on.
There is a flat rectangle of the cheek.
There is the triangle of the jaw.
And there is the sphere of the cranium.

This is what I like to call a Form Concept. It’s a visual representation of a complex form like the head.
